Gardening workshops at EC Micro-Farm
Education City Micro-farm and Education City Natural Reserve welcome student groups all year long for 90min to 120min educational workshops during which we explore both assets and dive into the world of gardening, farming, local plants and environmental regeneration. The goal of such visits is to educate our audience about Qatar’s fragile ecosystem and how we can collectively contribute to its regeneration.
As a ‘Green Island Partner’ you will:
Welcome the student groups (never more than 25)
Deliver the educational tour (training will be provided)
Guide the group through the entire session
Our workshops in Education City run 8.30am to 11am Sunday – Thursday and are always booked at least 1 week in advance. As a partner, you’ll need to reach the location 30min in advance, prepare the workshop material, ensure proper coordination with our focal point, and demonstrate passion and motivation to share your knowledge with a younger audience.
